Our philosophy on wellness & self-care:

You might have seen different advertisements and social media posts these days in promoting different wellness/self-care products for you to purchase. Indeed, multiple sources report that the global wellness economy is currently valued at $4.5 trillion. Unfortunately, this consumerism- and materialism- centered wellness trend creates a myth in that it makes consumers believe that “we can buy wellness, and we need more money to buy more wellness”. Such myth is troublesome as it has been well established that materialistic values is linked to unhappiness and discontents in life.

Contrary to the above wellness consumerism trend, SoCalWellness.Org believes that holistic wellness is achieved from within, through innate measures, and sustainable, and hence, SoCalWellness.Org aims to facilitate our clients to achieve one’s holistic wellness in such ways.

Similarly, self-care is not about buying the next trendy fitness device and trying out the next “it” beauty routine. Instead, SoCalWellness.Org believes that self-care is about self-kindness and self-understanding, and to simply allow oneself to be, and SoCalWellness.Org aims to empower our clients to engage in self-care practices that feels authentic and congruent to one’s values.
