Insurance Policies
SocalWellness.Org currently do not accept insurance as insurance companies oftentimes require each client to receive a diagnosis to be able to qualify for coverage, and insurance companies limit the number of therapy sessions each client can receive. These requirements are not always in clients’ best interests. However, if you choose to use your out-of-network insurance benefits, we will be able to provide you with a “superbill” form and you can submit the “superbill” form to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please note that your insurance company determines whether or not and how much you will be reimbursed. You are still responsible for full payment at the time of your appointment. Additionally, SocalWellness.Org offers sliding-scale therapy services for a limited number of clients: $100 per session that is based on income level (qualified clients will be added to a waitlist).
Cancellation Policy
Since the scheduling of an appointment involves the reservation of time specifically for you, a minimum of 48 hours (2 days) notice is required for re-scheduling or canceling an appointment. 100% of the session fee will be charged for sessions cancelled/re-scheduled late or missed without such notification. Most insurance companies do not reimburse for missed sessions and therefore payment of this fee will be the responsibility of the patient.
